I tried to stay up to watch Ghost Hunters LIVE, but it wasn’t on until 11:00 pm, and quite frankly I couldn’t keep these eyes open past midnight. I had also intended to visit the infamous Whaley House for it’s special Halloween midnight tour but again, I recognized at about 8:30 pm that I was going to be staying in, bundled in a warm blanket, eating chocolate twixes, and peanut butter cups, and trying to stay up for Ghost Hunters.
I watched some Chris Angel Halloween stuff - does he spell his name Cris? Or Criss? I know it’s something different…oh well, for my purposes today it’s spelled Chris. For one show he and some other people visited a haunted house where a little girl named Mary had died. It was pretty fascinating, but since Chris is a magician, it was impossible to tell whether all the ghostly events of the night had been truly supernatural, or simply magic tricks, or worst of all, Hollywood.
I didn’t have any unusual experiences myself, but seeing as how on my dad’s side of the family (FOX) we have had several family deaths occurring on Halloween, it was a time of deep reflection for me.
A friend of mine told me that he’d had an other-worldly encounter around Halloween, and I thought it was pretty cool, seeing as how (up to now) he hasn’t believed in ghosts! I also got to listen to Ghost-to- Ghost Radio with the infamous Art Bell, (who married a young Asian girl within weeks of his wife’s passing. I still haven’t forgiven him that…) But listening to those ghost stories is always fun. A few nights earlier he’d had an EVP hunter, who played some pretty grisly messages from beyond. I have to go right now, because a client will be walking in any second! Ciao darlings!
