2008 Politics - Fox Official Endorsement for Hillary.

February 21, 2008 at 9:48 pm (2008 elections, Blogroll, Fox officially endorses Hillary, George Noury, Inner wisdom, mind body spirit, religion, self-realization, spirituality, the secret, unconscious) (, , )

My Vote Is For Hillary. Here’s why…

We’ll get CHANGE with Hillary as well as with Obama, but I’d say Hillary’s strong point is her Experience, while Barak’s strong point is Oprah’s popularity. Now I appreciate Oprah as much as the next guy, but come on…

Our country is in big trouble. We’re in a war that doesn’t make sense. Our economy is screwed - and that’s an under-statement. Our dollar is so perversely undervalued that we dare not take our annual trip to Europe this year. I mean, even the Taj Mahal won’t accept our dollar - that’s how sad that is! We’ve been lied to by the government agencies that are in power - the presidency has taken czarist powers over the people.

We are a nation force-fed fear and hatred - each dealing with some degree of post-traumatic stress syndrome. You see it on our freeways, in our schools, in the tabloids, and at our borders.
The choices have come down to Obama, Clinton, John, and Mike. Here is how I feel about these choices, scariest to least scary…
  • John McCain - Oh my God. When I hear that man speak I have to hold back wet heaves. A vote for him is a vote for another 100 years in Iraq! Can you believe he actually said that!!!??? Sorry, but that is just plain ignorant. He may have been a great warrior back in the days when war was a “necessary” evil, but in today’s world where technology enables infinite possibilities for diplomatic solutions, he’s a dinosaur looking for fresh blood. Like a scratched up Beatles record, he’s stuck in the 60’s. I’m sure he’s a good man at heart (even though he has a maniacal rude steak in him - refusing eye contact with/sneering at Mitt Romney during the debates was pretty hateful.) I’d say volunteering for patient advocacy at a Veterans Hospital would be a good fit for him - NOT the Presidency.
  • Barak Obama - The word “Plagiarism” comes to mind. Anyone who has studied Bill Clinton’s speaking mannerisms can see that so has Obama. I’m willing to bet he has a video library filled with Bill giving speeches. He tries so very hard to be the former president, it’s kind of offensive. Other than that, and the fact that he does steal speech ideas from other politicians - I think when he finally grows up and gets comfortable with his own authentic style, he will make a fine president . However, at this time he is way too green to fill the Presidential shoes. Especially, in these extreme low times we find ourselves in. People, please wake up. We all want CHANGE, but we have to be thoughtful about it. The pendulum has destructively swung far to the right and we want CHANGE, I know, but is it righting the wrong to swing the pendulum all the way to the other extreme?? It never is. We need to get balanced. Back to balance should be the keyword of this election. We’ll get CHANGE with Hillary as well as with Obama, but I’d say Hillary’s strong point is her Experience, while Barak’s strong point is Oprah’s popularity. Now I love Oprah as much as the next guy, but come on… I also really hate that his wife is clearly an idiot: “For the first time I am finally proud of this country…” What the fuck???? What does she say about us behind our backs?  Her true colors have been revealed. She is as much an asset to Obama as was John Kerry’s moronic wife.
  • Mike Huckabee - The guy is adorable, lovable, electable, real. I like Huckabee, too bad he’s had a slow comeuppance. I’d vote for him if I were republican. What are republicans thinking to vote McCain over Huckabee. Frightening to think that with everything that’s come out unjustifying the war on terror there are still so many war-mongers out there.
  • Hillary Clinton - I’m willing to bet that the people standing for Hillary are people who’ve watched and listened to the debates. I know this has to be true because Hillary’s plans, strengths, and wisdom far outweigh Obama’s stammering and circle-runarounds. Shit, I know people are voting for Obama because Oprah told her followers to vote for him and they are faithfully doing so. Look, I don’t think the country will go to hell in a handbasket if Obama wins, but it will be a much slower pace of healing our country than if Hillary wins. Let’s face facts, I have no problem with seeing Bill in the White House again. You see, when Bill was president, life was good. Damned good. Business was thriving - everyone’s phones were ringing off their hooks…Everyone had a hearty savings account, people made their mortgage payments on time, people were friendlier, freeways were cleaner, less road rage…Well, I don’t have the facts on those things but I do recall life seemed more secure. I, for one, don’t think 911 would’ve happened during Bill’s watch because the world LIKED us. Did foreign countrymen protest when Bill went to visit? No. They threw festivals. Hillary has good ideas, solid experience for making positive changes, and a husband who was one of the best Presidents we ever had as an asset. What could be better! As they say, “Two heads are better than one.” Seriously, time are really bad, and we need strong, courageous, proven leadership. I love Oprah - but I am not part of the Oprah herd. I think with my own brain.  Make sure you do too.

Time to Nourish Spirit.

July 15, 2006 at 7:21 pm (Blogroll, God, Inner wisdom, goddess, mind body spirit, religion, self-realization, spirituality, stress)

Elevated terror alerts. War in the Middle East. Rising gasoline prices. Sinking stock market. Global warming. Immigration tensions. Republican versus Democrat. I could go on and on and on, but I think you get the picture. There’s much stress and conflict in our worlds today, both at the global level, and individually.

Logically, research substantiates that stress is an undeniable factor in illness and injury. That makes it more than important, crucial actually, to take time to nourish not only mind and body, but also spirit.

What is spirit? Many things I’m sure. There are facets to spirit that stretch beyond word definability. That said, allow me to attempt a meager description. Spirit is the part of us which possesses more information than what we are conscious of. Spirit sources our heartfelt emotion, and creative imagination. It’s our potential for higher wisdom. Spirit resides in our hearts, in our gut, in our DNA. Spirit storehouses memory of our births, childhoods, our past lives, and the in-between lives places. Spirit co-authored the blueprint for our life’s purpose. Spirit gives human the will to survive horrors like Nazi camps, and tax audits.

Individual spirits connect directly to the Great Creator spirit, God. Remember this: Human is only as strong as his/her connection to spirit.

Each human is composed of three elements: mind, body and spirit. Just as one has to keep feeding and exercising the mind and body in order to keep sharp, fit, agile, and beautiful, one also must feed and exercise the spirit.

Just as there are athletic gyms, vitamin supplements, books and schools for the mind and body, the spirit also has “workout” equipment. Luckily for us, God has provided us with a wide variety of powerful tools to choose from. For some, it’s going to Catholic Church every Sunday morning. For others it’s Temple, or Synagogue, or Mosque, or a circle of stones, or retreating into Nature.

I have delved into various religions, and have to say I deeply respect all of them that bring love, peace of mind, kindness, humanity, self-realization, self-worth, and goodness to the person, their home, and the world.

If you aren’t a temple goer, I invite you to discover your inner temple and fortify yourself through strengthening your connection to the source of…well, The Source, period. You’ll be a far advantaged participant in this thing called life, in the face of all our worldly challenges.

Till soon!

Love, and Peace. ~ Gina

Well-Come, Into Sacred Places…

June 27, 2006 at 9:39 pm (Blogroll, God, Inner wisdom, Stephen King, ghosts, hypnosis, mind body spirit, religion, self-realization, spirituality, unconscious)

Greetings. I am a female, forty-something year old hypnotist in Southern California. You might think because I’m writing this blog on the mystical, that I only do past life regressions, or alien abduction hypnosis, but the truth is, although I have done some of that work, these days I mostly do clinical work. For my day to day paycheck work, I draw from scientific studies that back up my therapies. I totally believe in the scientific side of this work. I have to, because hypnosis works best when the logical, conscious mind is in agreement with the emotional, or unconscious. “Use all the proven imformation you can get in order to get the job done,” is my motto. One of my mottos. Besides, hypnosis produces physical states and results long-supported by science.

I mostly work with weight reduction, and I see people become thinner, fitter people, on a daily basis. I myself have lost 200 pounds with hypnosis. So I know hypnosis is a powerful tool for physical change. To make physcial changes, hypnosis starts with creating mental changes, so I know hypnosis is mental.  The subconscious is what we call, The Emotional Mind, hence I know hypnosis is emotional. So we have that: Hypnosis is Mental, Physical, and emotional. Only one thing is lacking for complete life transformation to occur. Spiritual. But it’s not lacking. I dare say, this is why I want to do this blog. To wholly reflect upon life: physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional.

Having delved into the subconscious, I  have coined a new term to describe hypnosis: The part of us that is connected to God. It’s the place we pray from, when we are in deep, heart-felt, achingly desperate communication with God. That’s the part of my life as a hypnotist that I want to blog about here. I wil be covering all the areas I am familiar with: past life regression, rebirthing, ghosts, alien-human interaction, big foot, symbols, dreams, and whatever else comes up. I may even venture into the Biblical Revelations, and how I see the world progressing along, as far as that particular Book of the Bible is concerned.

So come back, and maybe I’ll tell you some true to life ghost stories that would get Stephen King’s approval. And maybe you’ll have some to share me. This is the place to talk about stuff you can’t talk to just anyone about!

Till soon! In the meantime. Light a candle and share converation with a fire spirit.   :)
